Polar Industries has long been the largest EPS block molder in New England, and among the largest on the East Coast. In that capacity we are best known for moving millions of pounds of EPS through our molds each year.

But block molded EPS is only one of the materials we produce. We are the largest manufacturers of continuously molded EPS in the U.S. This process results in a highly resilient EPS material unlike anything made in a traditional block mold. And with it we can produce boards of variable length at densities unheard of in conventional molds (3, 4 and 5 pounds per cubic foot).

Arcel is another product of our continuous molding machine. This copolymer of polyethylene and polystyrene blends the stiffness of EPS with the resilience of polyethylene. The result is a highly solvent resistant, and load bearing capable packaging and specialty application material.

VCI (vapor corrosion inhibitor) EPS is a patented packaging product used where both cushioning and corrosion protection is required for susceptible parts, such as electronics or machinery.

We are also among the largest manufacturers of laminated EPS sheet. This versatile product is used in die cut packaging, form-a-box and is especially suited to construction uses.
