Be sure your attic breathes easy.
Adequate ventilation is essential to the long life of residential roofing systems. In fact all major roof shingle and attic insulation manufacturers require that your attic be properly ventilated before they will honor warranties.

Without sufficient air circulation in hot weather attic moisture will be vented through the roofing materials, that is through the sheathing, tar paper and shingles. Curling roof shingles is the most visible effect of inadequate ventilation but moisture can lead to a host of other problems. In cold weather poor circulation can lead to harmful condensation. Poor ventilation can occur even in well designed attic systems when fiberglass insulation batts migrate to the soffit vents and prevent air movement.

Installing Rafter-Vent ensures the soffits are clear and there is a channel for outside air to move into the attic and out through the gable or ridge vent. This positive air flow sweeps away moisture preventing cold weather condensation and hot weather superheating and their related problems.

Helps to avoid roof damage, reduce energy loss and increase home comfort.
